日本アフロブラジル芸術文化研究会（JABAC）について
日本アフロブラジル芸術文化研究会（JABAC）は、SOU AZUL合同会社の文化・学術推進部門として設立されました。
本研究会は、ブラジルにおけるアフロ系文化――舞踊・音楽・宗教・造形・口承など――を多角的に研究し、
日本社会との対話と交流を通じて、その価値と多様性を伝えることを目的としています。
活動の柱
- 芸術実践（Artistic Practice）：ダンス・音楽・パフォーマンスによる表現活動
- 文化研究（Cultural Research）：身体技法・歴史・社会的背景に関する調査・記録
- 教育交流（Education & Exchange）：講師招聘・ワークショップ・学校連携・国際文化プロジェクト
JABACは国内外の研究者・アーティスト・教育機関と協働し、
アフロブラジル文化を通じたウェルビーイング、多文化理解、共創的社会の形成を目指しています。
About the Japan Afro-Brazilian Art & Culture Institute (JABAC)
The Japan Afro-Brazilian Art & Culture Institute (JABAC) was established as the cultural and academic initiative of SOU AZUL LLC.
JABAC aims to explore and transmit the richness and diversity of Afro-Brazilian culture — including dance, music, religion, visual arts, and oral traditions — through dialogue, education, and research in Japan.
Pillars of Activity
- Artistic Practice: Expression through dance, music, and performance
- Cultural Research: Study and documentation of body techniques, history, and social context
- Education & Exchange: Instructor residencies, workshops, school collaborations, and international cultural projects
Collaborating with researchers, artists, and educational institutions in Japan and abroad,
JABAC seeks to promote well-being, intercultural understanding, and the creation of a collaborative and inclusive society through Afro-Brazilian culture.
